Earlier this year, the owner of Teagan Collection hired the Treefrog Cinegraphix team to update the Teagan Co. website. Teagan Co. felt a need for a more elegant website to match the upscale level of their high-end collegiate beads and jewelry inventory. So we at Treefrog dug into this project, and gave Teagan an overall head-to-toe & front-to-back makeover including all new custom photography to better showcase the merchandise and to improve the user’s viewing experience.
To create an eCommerce store in WordPress, we used the Jigoshop plugin and many extensions to provide a wholesale and retail solution for our client. The extensibility of Jigoshop allows the store owner to easily expand their catalogue and product offerings, while the reporting feature facilitates convenient detailed order and stock reporting, and the shortcodes and widgets provide opportunities for creating a unique store. All-in-all, Jigoshop is the most intuitive WordPress eCommerce plugin for both the developer and the store owner.
With the increase of mobile internet users, it has become ever more important for websites to become fully responsive, meaning that the site’s content adapts its size to the end user’s browser size.
